I’m Karissa, owner/stylist at Salon Essence. I started my beauty journey at 16 and trained at Carbon Career & Technical Institute and Metro Beauty Academy, where I became Metro Elite and earned both my cosmetology license and teaching certification. I later trained in NYC with Nick Arrojo, specializing in razor cutting and color.

I’m all about textured cuts, lived‑in color, and making people feel and look amazing. When I’m not behind the chair, I’m spending time with my son Wesley, enjoying the outdoors, or teaching hair. Can’t wait to see you in my chair. xoxo

Hi, I'm Hailie! I started doing hair at 15 years old as a sophmore. I attended the cosmetology program at CCTI and started working in the field right after I graduated highschool. I'm passionate about doing lived-in, demensional color, men's and women's cuts, and waxing! My goal in hairdressing is to make everyone who sits in my chair feel comfortable, cared-for, understood and feel their most beautiful selves- insides and out! Outside of the salon I love volunteering, playing guitar, thrifting, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends! Hope to see you in my chair soon!

Meet Izzy, our talented stylist at Salon Essence. She specializes in vivid hair color and textured haircuts, creating bold, personalized looks that express each client’s unique style. Brook enjoys helping guests look and feel amazing. She is known for her positivity, passion, and attention to detail. She trained at Carbon County Technical Institute and graduated from Empire Beauty School with her teaching license.
